We met at 3 p.m. at the beach hall where 13 children colored and prepared their kites. Arnaud, the director of Ay-Ole, led the workshop. Once all the kites were ready and decorated, we went to the beach and, following Arnaud's helpful advice, the children were able to launch their kites—everyone succeeded! The children spent over an hour trying to make these beautiful flying objects fly and dance. Given everyone's good spirits, we'll do it again next year. Everyone was reunited with their parents and grandparents, who were still charmed by the experience.
